The Vernier
Use the mouse to drag the lower, Vernier scale.
The decimal part of the millimetre value is given by the number of the line on the lower scale which coincides with a line on the upper, millimetre scale.
When you release the mouse button the reading appears in the text box.
You can also use the arrow keys <- and ->
If nothing happens, you need to click on the vernier to wake it up!
